What's My Approach to Therapy?

Does your life look successful on paper while you feel completely disconnected internally? Many of the high-achieving teens and young adults I work with are exhausted from the constant performance of "having it all together." You might be navigating intense anxiety, identity shifts, or the invisible weight of past trauma that leaves you feeling stuck in survival mode. I provide a direct, judgment free space to help you rebuild the most important relationship you will ever have: the one with yourself. We move past simple talk therapy to address how emotional pain is held in both the mind and body, helping you unburden the parts of your identity that carry old wounds. My approach is integrative and strategic. I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore how your past experiences influence your present reality, combined with practical, evidence based tools from CBT and DBT. This means our work balances deep self discovery with concrete skill building for emotional regulation and self compassion. We will work together to quiet your inner critic and develop a personalized toolkit you can use to manage stress in real time. My goal is to help you access your "Self"—the calm, wise part of who you are—so you can stop reacting to your environment and start making choices aligned with your actual values. Choosing therapy is a strategic investment in your future, not a sign of failure. You do not have to wait for a total collapse or a crisis to prioritize your mental health and earn the right to feel better. Whether you are facing a major life transition or seeking to heal the root of your burnout, I am here to help you find your footing. Let us work together to stop the over-functioning and build a life that feels genuinely yours. You have the inherent resilience to thrive, and I am here to provide the framework to help you unlock it.

My Practice & Services

I am available virtually for telehealth sessions across New York State. This allows you to access therapy from the comfort of your own space. On a personal note, when I am not in session, I am probably covered in sawdust or paint. I am a passionate DIYer. I love home projects that allow me to express creativity and stay grounded in the present moment.
