What's My Approach to Therapy?
Therapy is a space to rebuild the most important relationship you will ever have. The one with yourself.
My work centers on self-discovery. I help clients learn to understand and love all parts of who they are. I guide clients toward deeper self-awareness and lasting emotional growth through curiosity and compassion.
I work primarily with older teens and young adults. You might be navigating anxiety or life transitions. You might be working through identity development or the impact of trauma. I help clients understand how emotional pain is held in both the mind and body. We work to unburden the parts that carry old wounds. This allows you to move toward healing and wholeness.
I use an Integrative Approach grounded in Internal Family Systems or IFS. This supports us in exploring how your past experiences influence your present life. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These provide practical tools for emotional regulation and self-compassion. My approach blends insight with skill building. I want to help you develop strategies you can use both in and outside of therapy.
My goal is to help you connect to your authentic Self. That is the calm and wise part of who you are. I want you to feel empowered to make choices aligned with your values.
