What's My Approach to Therapy?
Starting therapy can be an overwhelming process during a challenging time in your life. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard while you share your story in a supportive environment. I provide individual therapy for adults (18+). I have experience with a wide range of mental health areas, including body dysmorphic concerns, problematic eating patterns, body image concerns, anxiety, and life transitions.
I enjoy tailoring therapy to each individual, thus I incorporate several modalities. Treatment modalities include internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic, compassion-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I have specialized training in internal family systems (level 1).
I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bethel University in 2017. I earned my doctorate degree (PsyD) in counseling psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in September 2022. I am a psychologist licensed in Minnesota.
