My Approach to Therapy

My goal is to provide a space of compassion and support that helps you understand yourself and feel at ease in your mind and body. I provide individual therapy for adults (18+) via telehealth. I have experience with a wide range of mental health areas, including anxiety, binge eating, emotional eating, body image distress, body dysmorphia, obsessive-compulsive challenges (OCD), depression, trauma, and navigating life. I enjoy tailoring therapy to each individual, so I incorporate several modalities. Treatment modalities include internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, compassion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I have specialized training in internal family systems (Level 1). I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bethel University in 2017. I earned my doctorate degree (PsyD) in counseling psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in September 2022. I am a psychologist licensed in Minnesota.
