My Approach to Therapy

I’m Sami, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and art therapist dedicated to helping people feel truly seen and heard. Throughout my career, I’ve supported children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics. I also use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in my sessions to help clients work through extreme emotions and what can feel like the aftermath of intense situations. This has shaped my belief that healing begins in a space where your story is honored, and your emotions are met with compassion rather than judgment. Together, we can work toward helping you get back in control of your story.

My Practice & Services

As both a talk therapist and an art therapist, I value creativity, curiosity, and the many ways people express their truth. In our sessions together, we can use trauma-informed therapies, art therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills to help you explore what you are carrying and support you in reaching your treatment goals. In our work together, I hope we can learn more about you and give your story the space it needs to heal. I hope we can build new strengths, skills, and capabilities, and also have the chance to honor and heal those emotions with compassion. I look forward to getting started together soon!
