My couples therapy sessions are a space to practice a new way of being together. By gaining a deeper understanding of your past, current, and future selves, you can transition from a place of "trouble" to a life of shared meaning and mutual support. In my work with couples, I combine the Gottman Method and PACT to help partners build a "secure-functioning" relationship. This means moving beyond simple compromise and toward a partnership based on true mutual support and protection. By taking special notice of what is being spoken—and the underlying physiological cues—I help you understand how your past influences your current dynamic. This self-awareness allows you to make well-thought-out decisions, turning your relationship into a place of healing rather than a source of stress. While much of our work focuses on strengthening the bond, I also recognize that a healthy relationship is a choice made by two people. If our work shows your paths are diverging, I provide a supportive space to process endings, clarify next steps, and leave with greater understanding and integrity.
