My Approach to Therapy

I help couples navigate the emotional and psychological shifts that can accompany hormonal transitions. These changes often affect mood, communication, intimacy, and the overall emotional connection within a relationship. Many couples notice increased irritability, anxiety, confusion, or a sense of distance during midlife stage of life, and it can be difficult to understand what is happening both individually and together. In therapy, we slow down and explore what is unfolding internally and relationally. I offer a supportive, reflective approach that helps partners understand emotional patterns, communicate more openly, and make sense of the changes they are experiencing. The goal is to create greater empathy, reduce blame, and support both partners in responding to each other with more awareness and care. Midlife can be a confusing and transformative period for relationships, but it can also be an opportunity for growth and reconnection. Therapy provides a supportive space to reflect, strengthen communication, and navigate these transitions together. If your relationship feels strained or uncertain during this time, you dont have to face it alone. When you feel ready, I welcome you both.

My Practice & Services

I provide therapy for individuals and couples navigating emotional and relational changes during midlife, including transitions related to hormones: perimenopause and menopause. My approach is compassionate and reflective, helping clients understand emotional patterns, strengthen communication, and develop tools to navigate mood shifts, stress, and evolving relationships.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

In my practice, I emphasize the importance of self-exploration and self-awareness. This approach empowers my clients to uncover the root causes of their behaviors and feelings. Gaining this deeper understanding is a transformative process that can lead to significant personal growth and a notable improvement in self-esteem.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns with greater clarity. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to deepen understanding, strengthen communication, and develop practical tools for navigating life transitions and emotional challenges.
