My Approach to Therapy

The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination. As a clinician, it is my goal to help guide you in the right direction toward your personal good life. I aim to provide a secure, trustworthy environment where, together, we can work toward building the best version of yourself. While I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in combination with psychodynamic theory, my approach is, more importantly, grounded in empathy, compassion, and respect. I will work collaboratively with you to identify your unique needs and goals, and I will tailor interventions to best support you. I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. I also take pride in having a multicultural perspective, and I’m willing to learn about your culture and how it influences you. I recognize the importance of cultural sensitivity, and I strive to create a space where clients from all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and valued. The issues I specialize in include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and self-esteem issues. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you and help you navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and self-awareness.

Groups I Work With

I primarily work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, and trauma. Within my experience, these psychological challenges can affect everyone differently. Thus, I have made it a goal of mine to understand how these issues manifest within your life, as treatment will be as unique as you are.
