My Approach to Helping
Beginning counseling can be an overwhelming experience. Seeking help is an act of courage. With this in mind, I work hard to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment for my clients. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we can work together to gain insight into both your struggles and strengths. Using compassion, understanding, and clinical experience I aim to uncover my client’s innate ability to find growth and fulfillment in their lives.
My experience and credentials qualify me to counsel individuals, groups, couples, families, children, and parents. I primarily work from a person-centered model of therapy while utilizing CBT and solution-focused techniques to tailor my services to the needs of my client. I have also completed the Couples Therapy Level 2 Training from the Gottman Institute.
