My Approach to Helping
Beginning counseling can feel overwhelming. Seeking help is an act of courage. With this in mind, I work hard to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment for my clients. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we can work together to gain insight into both your struggles and strengths. Using compassion, understanding, and clinical experience I aim to uncover my client’s innate ability to find growth and fulfillment in their lives.
My professional journey to become a counselor saw me through a variety of settings and experiences. This includes; adult outpatient group therapy, residential rehab for adolescents, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and a non-profit psychotherapy center for low income communities. I have particular experience working with couples, anger management issues, teenage boys, and individual adults struggling with depression and anxiety disorders. Every story is unique however, I would love to hear yours.
