My Approach to Helping

When you’re struggling with relationship challenges, self-doubt, or perfectionism, these issues can contribute to frequently feeling stuck or "not good enough." Oftentimes such issues have originated from past adverse events which continue to impact the present and can contribute to anxiety, stress, or depression. Struggling with these issues can be draining and isolating, causing you to feel overwhelmed about taking that first step to reach out for help. Everyone has the innate capacity to heal and I view my role as a guide to support you through this process by helping you tap into your inner wisdom.

My approach is thoughtful, strengths-based, warm, and collaborative. An important component of our work together is empowering you to utilize your strengths and build self-compassion as well as other coping skills in order to change problematic patterns and enhance your quality of life. My goal is not to just help you survive, but also to help you thrive, which is a process I feel privileged and excited to engage in with you.

More Info About My Practice

I provide therapy to individual adult clients with a specialization in working with emerging and young adult women. My approach is integrative, and as such I utilize several schools of thought in my practice. The Interpersonal Process Approach and Positive Psychology guide my work with clients, however I also utilize Cognitive-Behavioral and Mindfulness treatments in my practice. This integrative approach is adjustable and allows me to tailor my treatment to best suit your needs.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
