As a mother of three and someone who personally struggled with depression, obsessive-compulsive challenges (OCD), and anxiety postpartum, my ideal client is a mother who is struggling with a mood issue during pregnancy or postpartum. Or perhaps you are grieving a miscarriage or pregnancy loss. You may be seeking support to feel seen and heard in what you are going through and to gain coping tools and techniques to better manage your symptoms. Your goals might include learning how to balance stressors, or starting to process hurts and begin healing. Learning self-love and self-compassion are also areas I value in therapy.
I can be that safe space to process all of the difficult adjustments and changes in life. I value holding space for others during these vulnerable times in life when it can feel very isolating. We will utilize CBT techniques to learn more positive ways of thinking while challenging negative thoughts. We will also learn new ways to care for and nourish ourselves.
