My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Within this relationship, the therapist uses their training to give you unbiased feedback and help guide you toward solutions for creating positive change in your life. The therapy relationship is different from other relationships because friends and family are often emotionally invested in us and therefore uncomfortable when they see us changing in unfamiliar ways. As your therapist I am invested in helping you discover what is right for you.
