My Approach to Therapy

I work with older teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), bipolar, trauma-related conditions, and other mood-related challenges. I support individuals navigating life transitions, work stress, relationship challenges, grief, and emotional difficulties. My practice welcomes people from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities, and I strive to provide respectful, patient-centered care tailored to each person’s needs. With experience in clinical research at the University of Texas at Austin’s Bipolar Disorder Center and hands-on counseling, I blend scientific insight with compassionate care. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), neurofeedback, and trauma-informed care, and I also incorporate video game therapy, virtual reality (VR), music, and mindfulness to tailor our work to your needs, combining traditional and innovative methods. I know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through this alone. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I’m here to support you in a way that feels right for you. Together, we can create a path toward healing, self-discovery, and resilience. When you’re ready, I’d love to connect.
