I am Rebecca, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the founder of Rooted Paths Counseling PLLC. I hold a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Liberty University.
Life’s transitions and emotional hurdles can sometimes make families feel ungrounded. My passion is helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate these storms and find steady ground. I provide a safe, calm, and nurturing space, offering families a true “breath of fresh air” as we work together to plant the seeds for long-term healing and emotional growth.
My Approach
I believe therapy should be systemic, collaborative, and tailored to the unique developmental needs of your child and family. I draw from proven, evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients build practical, real-world tools. My practice integrates:
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): Helping children and teens identify, understand, and gently reframe thought patterns and behaviors.
mindfulness-based practices: Teaching accessible grounding and emotional regulation techniques to manage anxiety, stress, and overwhelming emotions.
Parent coaching and behavioral support: Partnering closely with parents to provide actionable strategies that restore peace and consistency in the home environment.
