My approach to treatment centers on a simple belief: your physical health, your life stage, and your mental health are not separate stories, they're one story, and effective psychiatric care has to treat them that way. I combine evidence-based medication management with close collaboration, taking the time to understand what's happening in your body and your life before recommending a path forward. I work with general psychiatry patients, but also specialize in reproductive psychiatry and psycho-oncology, working with adolescents and adults, ages 15 to 62, through the psychiatric dimensions of life, mental health, and medical transitions. My clients include people navigating a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, perinatal mood and anxiety conditions, premenstrual dysphoria (PMDD), and perimenopause, as well as those facing the emotional weight of a cancer diagnosis or treatment. Many come to me after struggling to find a psychiatrist who treats these life stages as central to their mental health rather than a footnote to it. My practice is a solo, cash-pay psychiatric practice, which means I keep my caseload small and my attention focused, rather than splitting my time across a large panel of patients. I currently offer telehealth visits in Colorado and will begin offering in-person appointments at my Fort Collins, Colorado office in October 2026. Because I don't take insurance directly, I'm able to spend more time with each patient and make treatment decisions based on what's clinically right for you, not what a panel of insurers will approve. I accept HSA and FSA payments, and I provide superbills so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance plan if that's an option for you. At this time, I offer individual psychiatric care only, focused on evaluation, therapy, and medication management.
