My Approach to Therapy

I enjoy working with women and girls who are looking to reduce anxious thoughts and improve relationships with others. People who have trauma that is hard to talk about or feel as if if they are too much, have a space with me. Most often, the clients I see are women who have tried their best to work through the struggle on their own or in traditional therapy, but found that it wasn't working for them. Traditional therapy is a lot more worksheets and not enough moving through whats coming up together. I am here to cheer you on or hold your hand every step of the way if needed. I help clients feel better at an effective pace using multiple exposure based interventions that support multiple different diagnoses. Exposure therapy is one of the only highly proven modalities to reduce anxiety and trauma responses. When it is time to ask a professional for help, you want someone that can efficiently reduce symptoms. If you relate to any of the descriptions above, please reach out to me for a consultation call where we can figure out what therapy means for you. Give yourself the opportunity to feel freely then let go of what is weighing you down. I know how difficult it is to take the next step, this is your sign to finally take it.

My Practice & Services

I work hard to get clients booked and scheduled within a week of consult. I love to connect quickly and make sure you feel supported!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work with people that have needs other than just trauma or OCD. I have used treatments for panic attacks, phobias, and anxious relationship patterns. I also help with nervous system regulation through polyvagal and somatic based processes.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

I believe that many systems that allow therapists to provide care are currently flawed, allowing for clients with real needs to slip through the cracks. I started my own practice to make sure I am following ethical guidelines as a social worker, not to please insurance companies.
