My Approach to Therapy

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating? You’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I’m Rachael Sinnes, a licensed master’s level social worker dedicated to helping people gain clarity, build resilience, and create more meaningful lives. Therapy with me is compassionate, structured, and tailored to your unique goals. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I help clients manage emotions, challenge anxious thoughts, and strengthen healthier relationships with themselves and others. I believe every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. I place a strong emphasis on self-compassion. Healing begins when we learn to treat ourselves with the same understanding we offer others. Grounded in the belief that you already have the capacity for growth. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we focus on building insight, self-compassion, and real-life skills. Using evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, I help clients manage emotions, challenge anxious thoughts, and strengthen healthier relationships.
