What's My Approach to Therapy?
Do you ever feel like your mind is racing on overdrive, your motivation has hit a wall, and the stress never lets up? Maybe you shut down, snap at people you care about, or turn to substances, or endless scrolling, to quiet the noise. I work with adolescents (ages 12+) and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or are navigating grief. You might be a teen who withdraws or feels easily irritated, or an adult juggling work and family who appears “fine” on the outside, but feels anything but inside. My ideal clients seek relief, clarity, and practical tools—not just to get through the week, but to feel more grounded.
I help clients find real relief—slowing racing thoughts, easing emotional heaviness, and examining coping habits like substance use. Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches, we’ll uncover the roots of anxiety, depression, and overwhelm, while building healthier, more sustainable ways to cope.
