How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
Almost all my greatest times of growth were accompanied by challenges and losses. The sudden passing of my father when I was 9, various career issues, honestly addressing my ADD with the aid a medication, as well as learning about long term relationships with my wife of 30 years. For too long I tried to work out my own solutions before seeking counseling. The insight, confirmation and encouragement I received from my counseling experience was truly instrumental. My skills as a counselor deepened and this directly impacted my clients experience. So if you are open to it, allow me to help you do the same.
