What's My Approach to Therapy?

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. Drawing from DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches, I offer a compassionate, mindful, and collaborative style that helps you understand your emotions, build practical skills, and move toward a more balanced and meaningful life. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to learn the principles of being in the present moment while also developing techniques to build self-acceptance and self-compassion. Please visit my website to explore a more detailed explanation of my practice and my blog.

My Practice & Services

Something may not be wrong, yet things don’t feel right either. Anxiety may show up as constant tension or rumination, while depression drains motivation or emotional range. Small stressors feel overwhelming; emotions rise quickly or shut down without warning. You might notice distance in relationships, conflict patterns, or a sense of going through the motions while feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Many people seek therapy in this in-between space—when coping strategies aren’t working anymore, but burnout hasn’t fully taken over.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have lived experience in coping with emotional instability, depression, mood swings, and anxiety. Therapists are people too, and I believe that my experience makes me incredibly useful in connecting with clients who have struggled with similar issues. I can't guarantee that what has worked for me will work for you. Still, I'm confident that my understanding, empathy, and lived experience can help you feel seen, understood, and validated for having mood disorders that occur inside you.
