What's My Approach to Therapy?

I hear you. I listen. Therapy is your space—centered on your story, your healing, and your goals. You’re placing your trust in me, so let me share a bit about who I am.
I understand the weight of competing demands and the complexity of life transitions. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, addiction, and more. I bring not only clinical expertise but also a rich tapestry of lived experience—as a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, MBA, CPA, Air Force veteran, author, animal lover, gardener, farmer, foodie, and holistic health advocate.
Together, we’ll explore your strengths, build resilience, and honor your unique journey. Sometimes, all we need is a safe space and the presence of someone who is compassionate, curious, and non-judgmental.
At our first visit, I’ll ask thoughtful, probing questions to help you articulate what brings you to therapy. These conversations will guide us toward the root causes of your distress and allow us to co-create a treatment plan that aligns with your values, preferences, and goals—so you can begin to feel better and heal as swiftly and deeply as possible.

🧠 More About My Practice
My holistic approach integrates my certification as a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, with a strong understanding of how nutrition, gut health, and lifestyle impact emotional well-being. This knowledge is both personal and professional—shaped by years of study and lived experience.
I’m also the author of The CHAIN Links Program for Young Women and Girls with Anxiety – Stronger Together. You can learn more about this empowering, community-based model at chain-links.love.
I believe therapy should be tailored to you. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. You are the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk beside you. As Dr. Seuss beautifully said:
“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.”

We go where you need to go—and take the route that feels right for you.
