My approach to counseling is rooted in a strengths-based perspective that seeks to engage my clients in establishing their treatment goals and encourages each client to invest in their own progress. With an eclectic approach, I tailor my counseling modalities to meet the needs of my client. I utilize components of solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strategic family therapy, and other approaches to assist my clients in moving forward through their circumstances and emerging on the other side with renewed hope and on the path to healing. As a follower of Christ, I infuse a biblical perspective and faith-based component with my counseling approaches.
