Nyamah Bee-Johnson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello I'm Nyamah Bee-Johnson, I am a licensed clinical social worker. Counseling has always been a part of every job I have had throughout my career. I began by working with clients in hospitals, and crisis residential facilities for a period of time. I’ve always yearned for the prospect of working with clients beyond their state of crisis and work with them to maintain stabilization in the community. I enjoy making positive impact in the lives of my clients, and psycho-therapy allows me to have the necessary time to fully understand an individual’s biopsychosocial experience, and identify the best modality to address their needs. I have had many clients say "its easy to talk to me", and that they feel very "understood, and seen". A client also recently stated that I "give off an aura of wanting to help people become the best version of themselves". It is very important for me to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and helpful space for my clients.
