My Approach to Helping

I help people grow their courage, deepen their relationships, and lead more meaningful and impactful lives. I work with those who want to overcome their fears, have a more powerful voice, and take bold steps toward real change. I bring a mix of honesty, compassion and humor to what I do, and strive to be as authentic as possible. I am a goal-oriented therapist who believes that honest feedback given in a loving manner is the best catalyst for change. I have extensive training in ACT, CBT, and Exposure and Response Prevention.

More Info About My Practice

I am the co-owner of Straight Up Treatment, Inc. We offer specialized treatment for adults and adolescents (ages 12+), integrating cognitive-behavioral and emotionally-focused therapies for anxiety and more. Our peer-based support groups for teens and adults provide a safe space to boost confidence, self-esteem, and interpersonal skills. We also provide executive coaching for businesses in order to enhance workplace performance, morale, and productivity. In addition to education and consultation services for local schools and parents to help raise stronger and more resilient adolescents and children. Straight Up Treatment strongly values and incorporates assertiveness training in all programs and services offered. Be powerful, be bold, be heard!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I began my journey toward becoming a psychologist as a patient. I've worked in a private practice, a community mental health clinic, the pediatric oncology unit at a hospital, and assisting chronically homeless individuals on Skid Row. I am grateful to have found a calling in life that I believe in, and am inspired by the people with whom I work.
