My Approach to Helping

The next step in the process of getting you on a healthy and productive path is for you to feel welcome in your environment. Feeling welcome creates a level of comfort so that you can begin to discuss what has been troubling you. You will feel safe, heard and understood in ways in which friends and family cannot provide to you. Building a solid foundation in which we develop trust and rapport towards one another is a close second to how my therapeutic process progresses. Our relationship framework starts with openness and transparency from me towards you so you will feel a secure connection.
It is essential that you learn the coping mechanisms necessary to tolerate the feelings of pain in your life and develop the tools you need to begin to reconstruct a better future for yourself. I will assist you in more accurately perceiving your reality, controlling impulses, and delaying gratification. Becoming the most authentic person you can be means a higher self-esteem, greater self-confidence, worth, and value. It means setting and achieving goals you can attain for a positive and productive future.
