What's My Approach to Therapy?
Most people reach out for therapy at a moment when something feels stuck, confusing, or painful. If that's where you are, you’re not alone. You may be noticing patterns you can’t quite shift, relational tension or conflict that keeps resurfacing, or simply a feeling that you can't keep holding it on your own anymore.
My approach is warm, relational, and rooted in attachment and psychodynamic theory. I pay close attention to the emotional and relational patterns that shape your experience, both past and present. Together, we’ll explore how these patterns show up in your daily life. Once we have created the awareness around them, we will work to create more space, insight, and choice around them.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. I bring curiosity, directness, and attunement; you bring your lived experience. I believe you are the expert of your own story. I’m here to be with you in the places that feel confusing or heavy, and to help you find clarity and compassion for yourself. Together, we work toward developing a deeper understanding of yourself and more secure, meaningful relationships. If you're looking for a therapist who is present, steady, and engaged, I’d be honored to support you.
