My Approach to Helping

I help women, kids, teens, and parents, gain insight and a deeper understanding to the roots of their struggles. I teach people how their brain works and impacts their emotions and behaviors. I help my clients see the connection between patterns in relationships and earlier experiences. Using a psychoanlaytically-informed, relational, attachment, neuroscience and mindfulness approach – I help people become more connected to their lives and achieve more harmony.

I work with women in many different phases of life. Professional working women, stay at home moms, single moms, all face their own set of challenges. I understand first-hand some of the unrealistic pressures and demands on women. I’ll teach you to set boundaries, communicate more effectively, and take things less personally, so you can feel more connected to the people you love.

I also work with high achieving anxious kids and teens. Kids teens, and young adults do not always know what is happening and have a hard time verbalizing what is going on. I specialize in helping kids and teens whose happiness is now at risk by: staying up too late studying or working long hours, spending time with toxic friends, or procrastinating with applications because they are so worried they won’t get into their top school or job, obsessing over unnessary details. I help kids and teen learn effective ways to seek attention and how to communicate their needs and thoughts in words. I've helped many parents increase their confidence and energy and improve their relationships with their child.

There is hope. Help yourself or your child feel better now and develop long lasting skills. Call me today at 415-354-4241.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy can help you make the changes you have been dreaming of. Learn to start saying yes to the things you want to do and no when you don?t have time without guilt. Feeling seen, heard, and felt, and having the space to sort things through are incredible healing experiences that I offer my patients. The people I work with get better. They move to the home they?ve been looking for, get pregnant after months of trying, get out of a toxic relationship, graduate from high school, go to the college of their dreams, quit their job and stay at home. Together, we?ll explore what you truly want and learn to communicate in more effective ways with your boss, friends, husband, wife, partners, and children.
