My Approach to Helping

I focus on the deeper, unconscious aspects of the psyche, helping patients explore their inner world through dreams, symbols, sandplay, and archetypes. This process goes beyond addressing immediate symptoms to understanding their underlying causes. By interpreting these symptoms as symbolic messages from the unconscious, I guide patients toward personal growth, greater wholeness, and the discovery of their true, authentic selves. This therapeutic journey involves integrating various parts of the self, which can lead to profound transformation and a more meaningful life.

With years of experience I offer a seasoned perspective. I create a warm supportive environment where patients feel seen, heard, felt and understood, enabling them to explore and reconnect with their deep inner self.

I have the ability to listen to a wide range of experiences, no matter how embarrassing, frightening, or painful they may be for my patients. My emotional strength creates a safe environment for them to engage in profound therapeutic work. You can catch a glimpse of my personality in my interview about the movie Inside Out published in the Pacific Sun. https:pacificsun.comtalking-pictures-change-is-good

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Depth-orientation Jungian therapy offers more than relief from symptoms. It provides an understanding of symptoms as symbols that potentially point the way to greater development and wholeness; allowing for the emergence of your true self.

In therapy, we build a trusting, deeply connected relationship that holds and contains deep emotional experiences. Ultimately accessing these deep and disowned parts of psyche lays the groundwork for healing and wholeness, a process also known as individuation.

In addition, I use dreamwork and sandplay to facilitate deep emotional healing and psychological transformation. Furthermore, incorporating my therapy dog into sessions, if desired, can help reduce stress and anxiety, enhance mood, boost self-esteem, lessen fears, and build trusting relationships.
