My Approach to Therapy

Congratulations. You've done what most people spend years avoiding: you've become curious enough to look at yourself. You've arrived to the right place for such a moment. I think therapy gets marketed as either endless positivity or endless pathology. Life is messier than that. We carry our families, our cultures, our heartbreaks, our politics, our hopes, and our text messages into the therapy room. Healing is deeply personal, but it never happens in a vacuum. My goal is to build a safe, grounded relationship where we can honestly and curiously explore who you are, who you've been, and who you're becoming. I draw from both clinical training and lived experience. If you're looking for a specific approach you don't see listed, reach out, I'd be happy to talk. There's only so much you can learn from a headshot and a few paragraphs. Continue to be curious. Explore your options. Your mental health is worth choosing carefully. And if you find yourself wandering back here, I'd be delighted to hear from you. Let's see if we're the right fit.

Groups I Work With

I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals in medicine, technology, aerospace, public service, and other demanding fields who are navigating stress, relationships, identity, and major life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults through pivotal stages of life, women balancing leadership and family, and individuals navigating separation, divorce, grief, and other significant transitions. My clinical experience also includes working with people living with serious mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, and substance use disorders, as well as individuals and families impacted by incarceration and the criminal legal system.
