I am a clinical mental health counselor with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in trauma therapy and addiction treatment, and I support clients in drug court programs and those receiving probation services. Ive been drawn to this work since I was a small child because of its complexity. The human condition is no stranger to any of us. Each of us has a unique story interwoven in its tapestry. Like many mental health professionals, I started this career path by gaining a better understanding of my own mental health challenges. Therapy has given me more understanding, acceptance, and perspective in my life. I hope to empower my clients to find the same. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, so if youve ever asked "what is emdr therapy," Id be happy to walk you through its role in trauma therapy.
