I’m proud to work with tweens, teens, young adults, and caregivers, with a special emphasis on clients with autism, autoimmune challenges, and those who are neurodiverse or LGBTQIA2S+. I understand through my own lived experience the need to be heard and have your pain validated. I also understand the complexities of being a caregiver, single mom, and a fish out of water. I understand how hard it is to be a woman and an immigrant in this oppressive society. Like the phoenix, I have risen from the ashes many times; I come back fierier each time. I can help you do the same. I never judge my clients. Our pasts may have shaped us, but they don’t define us. My sessions aren’t cold and clinical. We can talk about heavy things. We can still inject humor and fun into our sessions. Last but not least, I am a social worker through and through. I believe we need to look at issues holistically, understanding all the factors that impact your mental health. While we’ll always address the bigger picture, your individuality and self-expression are important too. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to help guide your own treatment.
