What's My Approach to Therapy?
LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy | DC & Maryland
I work with people who are thoughtful, self-aware, and still struggling—often with anxiety, relationships, or questions about identity and direction. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+, including transgender and gender-diverse people, and are looking for therapy that is steady, intelligent, and emotionally honest.
My style is calm, engaged, and collaborative. We focus on understanding patterns, reducing anxiety, and helping you make sense of what you’re feeling, without oversimplifying it.

Approach
I use an integrative, evidence-based approach (cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed, and relational). Sessions balance insight with practical tools, and move at a thoughtful, sustainable pace. I’m direct when it’s helpful, reflective when it matters, and always affirming.
