Michael Freeman, Licensed Professional Counselor

My name is Dr. Michael Freeman and I am a licensed professional counselor based in Alpharetta, GA working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults ages 21 and over utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as humanistic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), integrative, multi-cultural, and transpersonal therapy. I am also certified in clinical hypnotherapy. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, the highly sensitive person (HSP), life transitions, mid-life crisis, stress, and spiritual transformation.

My communication style when working with clients is calm, relaxed, compassionate, caring, non-judgmental, and inquisitive. I want my clients to feel safe in their therapeutic process and for them to know I will be there to support them every step of the way on this challenging but exciting journey of self-examination and self-exploration.
