What's My Approach to Therapy?

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and mental health therapist specializing in anxiety and relationship counseling for adults and couples in Dayton, Ohio. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Dayton. I’m passionate about supporting people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, obsessive-compulsive challenges (OCD) and self-esteem concerns. I’m dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. I believe deeply in the power of collaboration, working alongside you to identify meaningful goals and create lasting, positive change. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. I use a person-centered approach to counseling. I integrate evidence-based practices such as anxiety treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and Gottman Method couples therapy.
