My Approach to Helping
**In response to the COVID-19 Shelter in Place Order, Zoom, Skype and Telehealth appointments are available**
I provide therapy in San Pedro-Southbay for individuals, couples and families, using research supported methods for lasting, useful change. You can also call my office at(424)258-5115 for a free consultation.
Working with a therapist can help provide insight, support, and new strategies for all types of life challenges. Therapy can help address many types of issues including depression, anxiety, conflict, grief, stress management, body-image issues, and general life transitions. Therapy is right for anyone who is interested in getting the most out of their life by taking responsibility, creating greater self-awareness, and working towards change in their lives.
I have experience working with a number of different populations including children, teens, families, adults, senior citizens, parents, couples, GLBT individuals, and people of all ages who are struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.
I support people in their desire to close the gap between where they are right now and where they want to be in the future with individual, couple or family sessions. I can teach you skills that you can use to continue getting better on your own.
My goal is to provide all clients with a comfortable, confidential, and non-judgmental setting where concerns can be explored and addressed. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an effective treatment for depression, anxiety, and other issues.
If interested in a medication consultation, I collaborate with psychiatrists in the South Bay and can assist in referring you for a medication evaluation appointment.
