My Approach to Therapy
Many women find me when they're looking for a clear explanation for how bad they feel. They may have been told it's anxiety, depression, PMDD, "just hormones," or even questioned whether they might have ADD or bipolar. They're often tracking symptoms, lab results, and diagnoses, trying to make sense of why their mind and body feel so overwhelmed.
On the outside, they look responsible and capable. On the inside, they feel exhausted, unsettled, or quietly afraid something is wrong with them.
Over time, what we usually discover together is that many of these women are highly sensitive and have been carrying complex relationship dynamics for years: with partners, parents, children, workplaces, and, most quietly, with themselves. Their sensitivity has rarely been named or honored. Their relationships have often asked them to over function, over give, or stay small. And their relationship with themselves has been shaped around survival: staying safe, keeping the peace, or meeting expectations.
In our work together, we start where you are now: your symptoms, your stress, your questions about "what's going on with me." From there, we gently widen the lens. We look at how your nervous system, beliefs, health, relationships, and history are woven together. We pay close attention to what your body is telling us, how you speak to yourself, what you tolerate, and where you override your own needs.
My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from integrative mental health, trauma-informed therapy, mind-body practices, and quantum-biology-informed education about the nervous system, stress, and health. The goal is that what you feel starts to make sense, rather than seem like a personal flaw.
You can expect me to be gentle but honest, to respect your pace, and to see you as a whole person rather than a diagnosis. Together, we work toward less self-abandonment and more alignment with your own rhythm, needs, and values, so that your relationships with others and with yourself begin to feel more truthful, steady, and sustainable.
If you are longing for a place where you don't have to hold it all together, where your sensitivity is not a problem to fix but a form of intelligent design to understand, I would be honored to explore whether we're a good fit.
My Practice & Services
I specialize in working with highly sensitive women who are done with surface level work and ready for deep, lasting transformation. Instead of relying only on years of weekly sessions, I offer condensed therapeutic containers that honor your depth of processing and give us enough uninterrupted time to work with what is really there. For women who are not yet ready for intensive work, I also offer a self‑paced realignment course as a gentler starting place.
Why Intensive Therapy?
Traditional weekly therapy can be helpful, but the short time frame often means we have to stop just as your system is opening. Intensive work creates a longer, contained space where we can settle, follow the full arc of your experience, and support both release and integration without the stop-start rhythm of one‑hour appointments. For many sensitive women, this format allows change that would be very difficult to access in a standard session.
Some women choose a single intensive as a reset; others use an intensive to deepen ongoing work and then continue with periodic follow‑ups or seasonal group experiences.
Self-Paced Realignment Pathway
Your Sensitivity Is Intelligent Design · Essentials Course · $333
A self-paced hybrid course for Sensitive & Strong women who want to begin understanding their sensitivity as intelligent design instead of something to fix. Inside the course, you learn about your uniquely wired sensitive nervous system, brain, emotional experiences, explore the life stages and patterns that shaped you, and create a personal Re-Alignment Map so you can start making different choices in how you care for your body, energy, and emotional life. This is a good starting place if you’re not yet ready for intensive therapy but want structured support and education.
Three Ways to Work Together Intensively
Rise & Re-Align Intensive · 3 hours
A depth-oriented, non-clinical intensive for highly sensitive women seeking clarity and re-orientation. We explore how your mind was shaped by family systems, cultural conditioning, and past experiences, identify what was never truly yours, and begin to realign with your authentic voice and values. This is offered as a consultative transformational container for women who are not seeking formal psychotherapy.
Full‑Day Therapy Intensive · 7 hours
A licensed clinical container for deep therapeutic work. This single‑day intensive allows us to address root patterns around anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, health‑related stress, and disconnection from self. The extended window is especially supportive for sensitive women whose emotional layering and regulation needs can feel rushed in standard sessions.
The Re-Aligned Journey™ · 3‑Day Immersive
My signature intensive experience: a three‑day virtual immersive integrating mind, body, and spirit.
Day 1 – Mind: How your nervous system and beliefs were shaped
Day 2 – Body: Somatic work, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence
Day 3 – Spirit: Reconnecting with inner wisdom, authentic self, and deeper alignment
This is a condensed version of my longer Spiral of Healing and Remembrance work, created for highly sensitive, spiritually oriented women who need more than talk therapy alone.
My Approach in Intensives
Within these intensives, I weave together integrative mental health, trauma‑informed practice, quantum‑biology‑for‑health principles, and my Heart Wisdom Re‑Alignment™ guided process. We often include hypnotherapy and inner work that access the subconscious patterns underneath fear‑based thinking, so you can begin to shift into more expansive, possibility‑based ways of seeing yourself and your life. Your sensitivity is treated as intelligent design, and we work in alignment with your heart, your natural rhythm, your visions, and your dreams. The extended format gives us enough time to move from insight into felt change in your body and nervous system in a way that is simply not possible in a single standard hour.
All services are offered via secure telehealth. Psychotherapy services are available to clients located in California and Massachusetts, where I am licensed. We can talk together about what is clinically appropriate and what best fits your needs.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
My journey into holistic psychotherapy wasn't born from a textbook, but from a body that felt everything too deeply. From infancy through adolescence, I lived with a nervous system that processed the world with intense granularity: gut symptoms, recurring infections, and a sensitivity that often left me overwhelmed. I nearly didn't finish high school because my body was speaking a language of distress that no one around me could translate. What was dismissed as "just stress" or "IBS" was actually the beginning of a lifelong dialogue with a system wired for depth.
Through the profound trials of infertility, anxiety, miscarriage, and the unraveling of my thyroid health (hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's), I came to understand that my symptoms were not random malfunctions. They were chapters in a single, continuous story about a body that was trying to protect a soul that felt too much.
This personal crucible is exactly why I am drawn to holistic psychotherapy for highly sensitive women. I know what it feels like to be told your intuition is wrong, your reactions are "too much," or your physical symptoms are "all in your head." Because I have walked through that fire, I don't just listen to your story; I resonate with it and know how easily it can be misunderstood.
My own healing required me to look beyond the surface, into the intricate weave of mind, body, heart, and soul. I became deeply curious about how these layers interact: how heartbreak can manifest as a tight chest, how ancestral trauma can live in the gut, and how the body is not a machine, but a luminous field of energy moving toward wholeness when given the right conditions.
This curiosity, forged in my own recovery, led me to develop the Heart Wisdom Re-Alignment guided process. It is rooted in the understanding that for the highly sensitive, the path to healing isn't about forcing the body to comply, but about learning to listen to the deep intelligence of the heart.
As a holistic psychotherapist, I offer more than clinical techniques. I offer the perspective of someone who has lived in the gap between the medical model and the spiritual reality of the body. I understand that for women like us, sensitivity is not a flaw to be fixed, but a form of intelligent design to be integrated. My work is dedicated to holding space where your deep feelings are validated, your intuition is trusted, and your journey back to wholeness is honored as the sacred, non-linear process it truly is.
