My Approach to Therapy

Many women find me when they are carrying complex relationship dynamics with partners, parents, children, workplaces, and most quietly with themselves. Their sensitivity has rarely been named or honored. These patterns often ask them to over function, over give, or stay small, and the body begins to speak through physical health challenges, nervous system overwhelm, or symptoms that no longer feel random. In our work we start where you are now. Your symptoms, your stress, your questions. From there we gently widen the lens to see how nervous system, beliefs, relationships, health, and history are woven together. We pay close attention to what your body is telling us and where you may have overridden your own needs or rhythm. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from integrative mental health, trauma informed practice, mind body wisdom, and quantum biology informed understanding of stress and the nervous system. The goal is that what you feel begins to make sense rather than feel like a personal flaw. Together we move away from self-abandonment and toward alignment with your own rhythm, needs, and values so relationships with others and with yourself feel more truthful, steady, and sustainable. If you are longing for a place where you don't have to hold it all together, where your sensitivity is not a problem to fix but a form of intelligent design to understand, I would be honored to explore whether we're a good fit. MA, CA + AZ only.

My Practice & Services

I specialize in working with women who feel deeply and sense the world in ways that often leave them overwhelmed or exhausted, even when life on the outside looks responsible and capable. I honor whatever path feels most aligned for you right now. Holistic Psychotherapy Many women find support through weekly or biweekly sessions, available in 40-minute and 60-minute formats, paced to support your unique rhythm. We begin with where you are now, with your questions, your stress, what your body is telling you. From there we gently widen the lens to see how nervous system, beliefs, relationships, health, and history are woven together. We pay close attention to where you may have overridden your own needs or rhythm. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from integrative mental health, trauma-informed practice, mind-body wisdom, and quantum biology-informed understanding of stress and the nervous system. The goal is that what you feel begins to make sense rather than feel like a personal flaw. Embodied Somatic Therapy Intensive For those who feel called to deeper processing, the intensive creates a longer, full-day container where we can settle, follow the full arc of your experience, and support both release and integration without the stop-start rhythm of one-hour appointments. Rather than staying in mental processing, the extended time allows us to slow down and tune more deeply into your felt sense and sensory intelligence. The quieter voices beneath the noise have space to be heard, integrated, and released. This allows unprocessed experience to move through its entire arc, so that when the day ends, your nervous system can actually receive and implement what sustains you. Within 7 days following the intensive, I offer a brief 10–20 minute check-in call. After that, you choose the frequency that suits your rhythm. Integrative Health Consulting This is not psychotherapy. This is translation. Drawing on my certifications in Integrative Mental Health and Quantum Biology for Health, and training in functional lab reviews through TruDiagnostics and others, I support you in reviewing your lifestyle, labs, medications, supplements, nourishment, sleep, movement, and hydration. Together, we create a personalized health map that honors both your physical reality and the deeper patterns shaping it. Over the last 15 years, I have walked alongside individuals as they reviewed their diagnostic results, refined their testing protocols, and in some cases, worked with physicians to reduce medications they had been on too long. This work matters deeply to me, helping people reclaim agency over their health journey while remaining in safe partnership with their medical team. This is an educational and consultative service, not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. Your Sensitivity Is Intelligent Design: Essentials Course A self-paced, science-informed course for sensitive and strong women who want to begin understanding their sensitivity as intelligent design instead of something to fix. Inside the course you learn about your uniquely wired sensitive nervous system, brain, and emotional experiences. You explore the life stages and patterns that shaped you, including complex relationship dynamics and their impact on physical health. You create a personal Re-Alignment Map so you can start making different choices in how you care for your body, energy, and emotional life. This is a good starting place if you want structured support and education. A 6-Month Re-Alignment Group option is available as well. All services are offered via secure telehealth on my Jane Clinic platform. Psychotherapy services are available to clients located in California, Massachusetts and Arizona, where I am licensed. We can talk together about what is clinically appropriate and what best fits your needs right now.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

My journey into holistic psychotherapy was not born from a textbook. It came from a body that felt everything too deeply. From infancy through adolescence I lived with a nervous system that processed the world with intense granularity: gut symptoms, recurring infections, and a sensitivity that often left me overwhelmed. I nearly did not graduate from high school because my body was speaking a language of distress that no one around me could translate. What was dismissed as just stress or IBS was actually the beginning of a lifelong dialogue with a system wired for depth. Through the profound trials of infertility, anxiety, miscarriage, and the unraveling of my thyroid health (hypothyroidism and Hashimotos), I came to understand that my symptoms were not random malfunctions. They were chapters in a single, continuous story about a body that was trying to protect a soul that felt too much. This personal crucible is exactly why I am drawn to holistic psychotherapy for women who feel deeply. I know what it feels like to be told your intuition is wrong, your reactions are too much, or your physical symptoms are all in your head. Because I have walked through that fire I do not just listen to your story. I resonate with it and know how easily it can be misunderstood. My own healing required me to look beyond the surface into the intricate weave of mind, body, heart, and soul. I became deeply curious about how these layers interact: how heartbreak can manifest as a tight chest, how ancestral trauma and relationship patterns can live in the gut, and how the body is not a machine but a luminous field of energy moving toward wholeness when given the right conditions. This curiosity, forged in my own recovery, led me to develop the Heart Wisdom Re-Alignment guided process. It is rooted in the understanding that for the highly sensitive the path to healing is not about forcing the body to comply but about learning to listen to the deep intelligence of the heart. As a holistic psychotherapist I offer more than clinical techniques. I offer the perspective of someone who has lived in the gap between the medical model and the spiritual reality of the body. I understand that for women like us sensitivity is not a flaw to be fixed but a form of intelligent design to be integrated. My work is dedicated to holding space where your deep feelings are validated, your intuition is trusted, and your journey back to wholeness is honored as the sacred, non linear process it truly is.
