My Approach to Therapy

*Accepting new clients in Massachusetts and Maine* I work with adolescents, adults, and couples, fostering trusting therapeutic alliances that allow our time to be collaborative, supportive, and effective. Together we can explore what comes up or work toward specific goals, whichever feels most beneficial for you at the time. Whatever season you are in, we will develop strategies to manage intrusive thoughts, stress, difficult feelings, habits behaviors, relationship issues, or other challenges. We will also focus on your wins! Identifying areas for improvement does not negate your strengths, resilience, and accomplishments. I provide a non-judgmental space where you can process and explore openly, with sessions tailored to your experience so that each one feels cathartic and productive. Understanding that your experience is unique, I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Strengths-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). If this resonates with you, I look forward to connecting.
