My Approach to Therapy

You may be feeling anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are. Maybe youve gone through a major life change, struggle in relationships, or feel stuck in patterns you understand but cant seem to change. Therapy can help you make sense of these experiences and create meaningful, lasting change. I work with adults navigating anxiety, developmental trauma, attachment wounds, and life transitions. My approach is relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed. I help clients understand how past experiences, relationship patterns, and nervous system responses may be shaping the present. I integrate talk therapy, EMDR, and the Safe and Sound Protocol when helpful. Together, we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, building stability and awareness before deeper processing. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and in control of your responses.

My Practice & Services

Choosing how to live your life often begins with reconnecting to what truly matters to you and quieting the voices that no longer fit. Therapy can create space to sort through the noise, understand yourself more deeply, and choose paths that feel more aligned with who you are. If this resonates with you, Id love to connect.

My Role as a Therapist

I believe that people already carry an inner sense of what is true for them, even if it feels distant or difficult to access. My role isn?t to interpret your life for you, but to help you come into clearer contact with your own experience?especially the parts that haven?t yet had space to be felt or understood. In our work together, we slow things down and stay curious about what?s happening internally. This allows you to begin putting words to your experience, making sense of it, and learning to trust it over time. I offer a kind of therapy that values steadiness over urgency?you don?t have to prove you?re getting better here. As that understanding deepens, change tends to happen more naturally. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling less reliant on me and more confident in your ability to understand yourself, recognize your needs, and respond in ways that feel aligned.

Groups I Work With

I support women who feel the pressure to hold it all together providing a safe space to regulate and explore the truths that might be living underneath the feelings. I also help individuals who are experiencing significant life transitions - those who have just moved to the area, gone through a breakup, retiring or changing careers. I also work with those struggling with grief or loss - offering a secure space to process complexity and intense emotions. I use a holistic approach and incorporate body-based modalities to address stuck-ness when needed.
