My name is Mary Russell-Wright and I am a Professional Licensed Counselor who is passionate about working with diverse populations who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, and other stressors involved with family and job. Choosing a therapist is one of the most courageous decisions that you have made on your road to becoming a healthier version of yourself. This means that you have decided that you are worth it and that you deserve a chance to heal. I specialize in the care for your emotional, mental, and overall well-being using a person-centered and cognitive-based approach. Together we will work towards meeting the goals that you have personally set during the therapy sessions. The primary clients that I have successfully worked with are those individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and relationship issues. As part of the therapy process, it is imperative that we focus on building a relationship that fosters trust between the therapist and the client. It is important that the client is heard and understood and I am passionate about getting to know you and developing a relationship with mutual respect, It is my goal to provide you with an empathic and secure environment where you feel free to express yourself and not worry about being judged.
