My mission is to be a catalyst for healing and change to provide relief from suffering and empower you to create the life you want. We all deserve to enjoy a full, rich, and rewarding life, and we all possess the innate wisdom and ability to heal and improve our lives, with guidance and support, if we can unburden ourselves enough to see clearly. Everyone's life has challenges. Sometimes things get in the way and throw us off track or lead us down a dark path. If that has happened to you, we are here to help. Whatever you are struggling with, the time to act is before things become unbearable. My associates and I have the knowledge and skills to help you reach your therapy goals. My Practice & Services

We are often able to take same-day appointments. Evening and weekend sessions are available for clients who need those accommodations. Currently, I accept an Aetna insurance assignment. However, I will be happy to provide you with a superbill to present to another insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Some people wonder how or why psychotherapy works -- how and why it helps. Let's start here: the term "psychotherapy" actually means "talk therapy." Sigmund Freud discovered that encouraging people to talk about their troubles often gave rise to information that enabled him to help these people feel and be well. Sometimes psychotherapy can be simple and short-term (2-3 months). Other times it is more complicated and requires a longer-term and multifaceted approach. By the third session, I will give you a plan and discuss my recommendations for moving toward the life you want. If my associates and I cannot help you, I will refer you to an appropriate person. Don't put it off. Let's discuss your needs.
