What's My Approach to Therapy?
I am currently accepting new clients and work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), substance use, eating challenges, LGBTQ+ concerns, trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), relationship challenges, and behavioral issues. Using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance-based, and experiential therapies, I focus on authentic connection, emotional insight, and compassion to support meaningful healing and growth.
I help individuals, couples, and families develop insight, emotional balance, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I focus on strengthening coping skills, improving relationships, and fostering meaningful, lasting change.
My Practice & Services
Licensed in PA, NJ, and CT, I draw on my experience as a Clinical Director at Bucks Support Services and in academic and behavioral health leadership roles to provide evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment. My work emphasizes thorough assessment, stability, and sustainable progress for those seeking thoughtful, professional care.
My Role as a Therapist
As a therapist, my role is to provide a thoughtful, structured, and collaborative space where people can slow things down, make sense of what they're experiencing, and move toward meaningful change. I focus on careful assessment, clear goals, and evidence-informed treatment, while remaining attentive to the emotional and relational aspects of the work. Therapy is not about fixing or labeling, it's about understanding patterns, strengthening stability, and supporting sustainable progress.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
If you've had a difficult or disappointing experience in therapy before, it makes sense to be cautious. Many people come in feeling unsure, guarded, or skeptical...and that?s welcome here. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your experience. We move at your pace, focus on what actually feels helpful, and regularly check in about what is and isn?t working. A past experience doesn?t define what?s possible going forward.
