My Approach to Therapy

Do you find yourself dealing with anxiety or relationship challenges? Are you using substances to cope with difficult feelings or situations? These struggles can feel overwhelming, but having support can make a meaningful difference. I work with individuals who feel stuck in unhelpful patterns and are looking for guidance, insight, and practical tools to move forward. In therapy, I help clients build healthy coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and navigate life transitions. My approach focuses on increasing awareness of thoughts and emotions to better understand challenges and develop effective, lasting solutions. I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship challenges, and substance abuse. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I use an integrative, client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs and therapeutic goals. I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult and vulnerable. I'm committed to creating a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and supported throughout the process.

My Practice & Services

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. Your comfort and trust are most important to me. I create a safe and nonjudgmental space for my clients to explore and process through self-reflection. Together, we’ll identify what may be getting in the way and develop practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approaches, tailoring treatment to your individual needs and goals. We’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while also identifying practical solutions and building on the strengths and resources you already have.

My Path to Becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I have always had a passion for helping others discover their inner strengths and abilities. I completed my graduate and credentialed training in social work. I have worked in substance abuse inpatient settings with a focus on mental health concerns. I have also worked with the elderly through inpatient rehabilitation, as well as in children’s outpatient mental health. Working with a diverse clientele has allowed me to enhance my practice and become a well-rounded clinician through collaborative treatment approaches. I believe in creating a safe space for people to freely express themselves and discover their own abilities to heal.
