My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy is a place where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I meet each person where they are, while helping them better understand their emotions, experiences, relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them from moving forward. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, family and relationship challenges, parenting concerns, life transitions, and self-esteem. I also have experience supporting survivors of domestic violence and people who have been through difficult or traumatic life events. When working with children and adolescents, I believe in creating a safe, engaging environment where they can express themselves in ways that feel natural to them. I also value working collaboratively with parents and caregivers when appropriate, because meaningful, lasting change often extends beyond the therapy room. My goal is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you recognize your strengths, develop practical tools, understand yourself more deeply, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. Every person has a story, and sometimes we need support as we decide what the next chapter will look like. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you begin to write yours.

My Practice & Services

At Write Your Own Chapter LLC, I combine clinical skills with creative, supportive tools to help children, teens, adults, and families heal and grow. Sessions may include art, journaling, play, or mindfulness strategies, all designed to encourage emotional expression and self-discovery. I offer both individual and group sessions, with flexible evening and weekend availability to meet clients’ needs. For those looking for ongoing support, I also provide coaching packages and group programs tailored to grief, family relationships, and personal growth. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I strive to create a safe, compassionate space for healing.
