My Approach to Therapy

My work is especially suited to women navigating motherhood, menopause, puberty, divorce, career change, relocation, toxic relationship patterns, low self-worth, and emotional dysregulation, adolescents, couples, and multicultural individuals rebuilding identity when life throws unplanned events in their direction. My therapeutic style is warm, reflective, and collaborative. I offer a space where you can slow down, make sense of your patterns, and reconnect with a steadier, more authentic version of yourself. I bring cultural sensitivity and the lived perspective of a mother, which matters deeply for women navigating family, caregiving, and identity at the same time.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I came to this work through experiencing my own life, not just through training. I grew up with selective mutism, became a chronic people-pleaser through adolescence and adulthood, and spent two decades in corporate and organisational settings learning how to read the emotional stories beneath people's professional performances. I have personally navigated migration, grief, career reinvention, and motherhood without a village around me. That combination of lived experience and clinical training means I understand both the external pressures my clients face and the internal patterns driving them which is why my clients who put their trust in me perhaps feel truly understood from the very first session.
