What's My Approach to Therapy?
Imagine a safe space where your experiences are honored, and your strengths are celebrated. If you have ever felt stuck, alone, helpless, or overwhelmed, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental place where you can express yourself fully and feel supported, understood, validated, and seen. I specialize in attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), grief work, and women's issues around anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and relationships. Through my work with young and adult women (16+), I've found that by modeling genuine self-acceptance and self-compassion, my clients are more receptive to extending grace and kindness to themselves, not just to others.
Above all, I provide sincere feedback, offer many skills that can be used outside of sessions, and strive to equip clients with the tools they need to be successful and resilient when life is too much.
The therapeutic relationship is the bedrock of any therapy success story. The space I offer is not only safe and nonjudgmental, but also patient. I will sit with you in the hurt, the pain, the loss, the ache, the hopelessness, and the chaos. I will sit with you knowing that there is an end in sight (even when you can’t see it), and will hold your hand as we find our way out of that darkness together.
Regarding insurance:
I can help verify if you have out-of-network benefits. I use a service called Thrizer that automatically submits superbills for you and allows you to only pay your coinsurance for my sessions, which could save you, on average, 70% on my full rate every session.
