My Approach to Therapy

Luis San Roman, EdD, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and couples therapist serving the Chicagoland area, including Rolling Meadows and the northwest suburbs of Illinois. He founded Mosaic Wholeness Center, a counseling practice offering trauma-informed, culturally sensitive therapy. Dr. San Roman is passionate about helping clients move beyond survival and into lasting wholeness, emotionally, relationally and personally. His approach integrates clinical excellence, evidence-based practices and deep respect for each persons story, offering care that is both compassionate and results-oriented. His areas of focus include couples therapy and marriage counseling using emotionally focused therapy (EFT), Gottman Method couples therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for couples; trauma therapy and trauma-informed care for teens, adults and families; relationship therapy for betrayal, infidelity and trust recovery; culturally responsive therapy for Spanish-speaking and bicultural clients; and leadership and executive coaching for pastors, clinicians and other professionals. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. San Roman serves as a professor, supervisor and speaker, committed to forming the next generation of Christian counselors. Clients often describe his style as compassionate, grounded and deeply relational, creating a space where healing, growth and lasting change can take root. At Mosaic Wholeness Center, Dr. San Romans mission is simple: to help individuals and couples experience deeper connection, emotional health and true flourishing.
