My Approach to Helping
If you are experiencing a lot of negative emotion, feeling stuck and frustrated with your life situation, or hopeless about a romantic relationship, therapy may be able to help. As an experienced psychotherapist, I can help you make changes to improve your life, mood, and overall happiness. My goal is to help you work through whatever situation is bringing you to therapy and guide you to where you want to be.
My specialty is helping individuals struggling with: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, and healthy relationships. I believe the most important part of treatment is establishing a trusting, client-therapist relationship and creating an environment where you feel comfortable sharing difficult thoughts and feelings. We will work together to relieve your distress, gain insight into your problems, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve happiness again in your daily life.
