What's My Approach to Therapy?
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, trying to make a difficult life decision or just believe it is time for a change, counseling can be a safe place to help you figure out what might be keeping you from living your life fully. I can provide support by working with you to achieve your goals, improve your coping skills so that you can make positive changes, and help you break negative patterns that are holding you back.
I am the Clinical Director and owner of Hillary Counseling. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, I specialize in working with adults and couples facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, stress, burnout, and career concerns. I have a particular passion for supporting high-achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners in navigating the complexities of success and personal fulfillment.
I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help my clients identify and break free from negative patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, and burnout. My approach is warm, open, and engaging—combining professional expertise with a down-to-earth, realistic perspective.
Whatever your reason for looking into therapy, I’m glad that you are here. It means that you are ready for a change. I want to help you improve the life experiences you are having, discover ways to build your strengths, and develop new skills and insights that will empower you to live a more meaningful, connected and fulfilling life.
