My Approach to Helping

It's that STUCK feeling-Trapped in a painful cycle and you just can’t seem to break free. Just getting through the day can be a struggle. You feel empty. Defeated. Unable to concentrate or function as you know you could, your job suffers, your relationships suffer, even your health suffers. You know if something doesn’t change, you may lose everything that’s important to you. That pain can feel unbearable. I will tell you- The way you’re feeling right now is NOT permanent. Change IS possible. You just need the right guidance to make it happen.

These pains arise when we become consumed by the stresses of our lives and we lose touch with our own Selves and needs. We become disconnected, working on autopilot. I’ll help you get to the root of the problem so you can create lasting change in how you experience life. The weight you’ve been carrying lifts and you can feel excitement for life again.

You can approach life the way you choose, back in the driver’s seat of your life. I know you may be feeling overwhelmed and discouraged right now, but I can help you find your way to peace and empowerment! The next steps is simple: For a free 15-minute phone consultation, reach out by email or call me at my number, and I’ll be able to guide you.

More Info About My Practice

I offer telehealthonline therapy sessions for clients throughout the state of Florida.

I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy services.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I enjoy working with adults - individuals, couples, and families - who are struggling with substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and trauma-related issues to help them find their way to a more peaceful, joyful way of living.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to offer guidance, support, new perspectives, helpful skills, and psychoeducation as you move through this journey to healing. I believe in the importance of collaboration and focus on working with my clients towards reaching the goals they want to achieve in therapy.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

It takes a great deal of courage and maturity to recognize when we need help - and we all could use help from time to time! We all have different strengths and limitations. Being able to acknowledge a problem and take the steps to address it is a sign of great strength. You are not weak or flawed - you are facing a challenge and some challenges are much easier to overcome when you have professional support and guidance to help you through!

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

The frequency and duration of therapy is highly individualized. There is no specific time-frame for our work together. This is not a "one-size-fits-all" type of thing. My goal is to help you meet your goals for therapy as soon as possible while making sure the changes are sustainable. Some clients may require only a few sessions to meet their goals, while others may choose to continue working with me for months or years. Our timeframe will be individualized depending upon your needs and progress. I do not believe in "keeping" someone in therapy for longer than they need. I will work with you for as long as it is therapeutically beneficial for you and we will work towards meeting your goals at your pace.
