My Approach to Therapy

If you're here, you might be exhausted. Maybe you're tired of feeling out of step with everyone around you, tired of carrying things nobody else can see, or just tired of pretending you're fine when you're not. Wherever you're starting from, I want you to know you're not too much, and you're not alone. I'm Linh, and I get it, partly because I've lived it. I'm a late-diagnosed person with attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD) and a survivor myself, so when I say I understand what it's like to feel like your brain or your story doesn't fit the mold, I mean it. That lived experience shapes how I show up for you, with warmth, humor, and zero judgment, because healing doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. In our work together, you can expect honest conversation over lectures. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and somatic work to help you move past just talking about what's going on and actually feel a shift, while we build a toolbox of practical skills you can use in real life. My job isn't to fix you. It's to help you find the power and strength you already have, so you can move through the world as more fully yourself.

My Practice & Services

I run a group practice with associate therapists, so even if my schedule doesn't line up with yours, there’s a good chance someone on our team will be a great fit. To get started, just reach out through my website or give us a call. No complicated hoops to jump through, just a real person ready to help you find the right therapist for you.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

ADHD is personal for me. Since my own late diagnosis, I've spent years teaching myself everything I could find on it, and I keep up with new research as it comes out, because the way we understand ADHD brains keeps evolving and I want to stay ahead of it for my clients, not behind. During my practicum at the LGBTQ Center of Orange County, I worked closely with queer couples, polyamorous relationships, and clients navigating gender identity and gender transitions. That experience shaped how I show up for LGBTQ+ clients now: with real familiarity, not just good intentions. Before graduate school, I worked as a crisis counselor and victim advocate, which means domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse aren't topics I learned about in a textbook. I sat with survivors in some of the hardest moments of their lives, and I bring that same steadiness and care into the therapy room today.
