My Approach to Therapy

I help women navigate anxiety, panic attacks, the unique emotional challenges of perimenopause, and sleep difficulties. Anxiety often surfaces when life feels unbalanced, stress levels rise, or we become too busy to prioritize our own well-being. During the perimenopausal years, these feelings can increase, often bringing sudden waves of panic, irritability, mental fog, fatigue, and sleep disruptions. If you are feeling overwhelmed, unlike your usual self, or you need help finding more balance in your daily life, I am here to help. Together, we will create a gentle, tailored plan to help you reconnect with yourself and feel grounded again. I offer a warm, person-centered approach and a collaborative space to navigate what you’re going through. Based on your needs, I blend mindfulness to help you stay present, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to examine thoughts and behaviors, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) for sleep difficulties, and positive psychology to cultivate self-compassion and growth. Since finding the right therapist can feel a bit overwhelming, please feel free to call or email me to schedule a brief time to chat and see if we’re a good fit.
