My Approach to Helping

Encouraging hope and enthusiasm for life is a primary goal of my counseling philosophy. Promoting self-agency is another: you can solve your own problems with the abilities you already possess together with the skills and expertise I offer. I will listen to your own unique story in a caring, nonjudgmental manner, meeting you where you are and walking forward with you. I diagnose with care, making every effort to focus on healing rather than labels. I believe that while every human being has problems, the problem is separate from the person. Self-awareness is vital for growth: who are you and what do you want out of life? Let's find out together!
