I am a therapist who has worked extensively in sexual assault, domestic abuse violence, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. I believe that everyone has the resources within them to heal from these and other painful issues, they just need someone to help guide and come alongside them. I use multiple treatment modalities including Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I believe that faith can be an important part of healing and that it should be up to the client how much or little this is worked into their healing. Healing and freedom are available to those who want it and are willing to do the work.
