My Approach to Therapy

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), depression, life transitions, and performance challenges. Whether you are an athlete seeking a mental edge, a professional facing burnout, or someone working through a difficult chapter, my practice offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you move forward. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and provide in-person and telehealth sessions from my Scottsdale, Arizona, office. I also offer telehealth services for clients in Minnesota, Georgia, Louisiana, Ohio, and Indiana. My approach blends evidence-based methods tailored to you, because one size never fits all. Together, we will build the skills and clarity to help you live a more fulfilling, meaningful life.

My Practice & Services

Sherlin Consulting Group is a Scottsdale-based practice offering individual, couples, and family counseling, alongside specialized services that set us apart. In addition to traditional talk therapy, we provide quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) brain mapping and neurofeedback, biofeedback, and sport and performance psychology for athletes, executives, and high performers. Our team includes licensed counselors, associate-level clinicians, and graduate student interns, which allows us to serve a wide range of needs and budgets. Student interns offer sessions at significantly reduced rates for people who are uninsured or seeking lower-cost, high-quality care. We accept most major insurance plans and offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. We work with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and performance-related stress. Beyond the therapy office, we also provide professional workshops, presentations, and consultation in areas such as neurofeedback, ethics, and performance psychology. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult season, working toward personal growth, or looking to optimize your performance, our goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
